In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car draws on the design style of the Dongfeng Demeanor MX3 that was unveiled but not yet on the market. The seat and space are the same as the current model. The seats are replaced with new color schemes. The rear seats are equipped with child seat interfaces, but there are only two headrests and no central armrest. In terms of body size, its length, width and height are 4501/1806/1650mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2630mm. It is positioned as a compact SUV.
In terms of power, the new Dongfeng Fengshen AX5 is equipped with a DFMA14T 1.4T engine with a maximum power of 140 horsepower and a peak torque of 196 Nm. In terms of transmission, the new car will continue to be matched with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox. In terms of suspension, the new car adopts a front MacPherson independent suspension and a rear torsion beam non-independent suspension. The steering system is EPS electric power steering.
