The 2019 Silk Road Rally is sponsored by the Ministry of Sports of Russia, the General Administration of Sport of China, and the Mongolian government, and undertaken by the Automobile and Motorcycle Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the China Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation, and the People’s Governments of Xinjiang, Gansu, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regions (Provinces). This competition is supervised by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and is a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the great motherland. At the same time, this year is also the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China, Russia and China and Mongolia.
The 2019 Silk Rally will start a new great adventure from Eastern Siberia, Russia on July 6th. The race started from Irkutsk near Lake Baikal, crossed Mongolia from north to south, entered Mongolia, and set up a race camp in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Then the race entered China, and the drivers will challenge 3 special stages in China. The final competition ended in Dunhuang on July 16. During the 10-day race, the drivers will travel 5,000 kilometers across the Eurasian continent, half of which will be special stages.

Huaxia Road (Beijing) Sports Event Management Co., Ltd. has rich experience in the promotion and operation of international and domestic racing events. In this signing with China Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, Huaxia Road exclusively owns (5-year and 5-year priority renewal) the exclusive commercial rights and promotion rights of the Chinese side of the Silk Road Rally from 2019 to 2023, which is the Chinese mainland of the Silk Road Rally Regional exclusive event promoter. At the same time, Huaxia Road has also obtained the exclusive promotion authorization of the Silk Road Racing Culture Town (Park) of China Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (CAMF). Referring to the data of the 2018 China Sports Copyright Value Ranking List, the copyright value of the same type of cross-country event “China Cross-Country Rally” held in China in 2017 was about 500 million yuan (data source: Sports Copyright Value Research Center). The Silk Road Rally is currently the only intercontinental off-road car event in the world. It is a major IP of the country’s “Belt and Road” strategy and the number one IP in off-road racing events.
