Paula became interested in cross-country after two offroads, because it has infinite temptation for her as a photographer, and she will harvest more stunning scenery in places far away from the hustle and bustle. Accompanying her is a nearly 30-year-old guard, but it is still very trustworthy.
Paula fell in love with the magic of off-roading, and she once drove a Defender around Scotland. Departing from North Yorkshire (North Yorkshire) to Durness on the north coast, passing through the Cairngorm mountains, then reaching Gairloch on the west coast, then continuing southeast to Laggan, then passing through Glasgow, and finally reaching Harrogate in the south of Scotland (Harrogate) ).
This is an 8-day journey, and the North Coast of Durness is a beautiful place, and it is also very suitable as the first destination of a self-driving trip. There are beautiful coastlines, dense forest trails, and many anonymous but cool sculptures if you are interested in walking through this forest.
When crossing the Cairngorm Mountains, in a no-man’s land where there is no way to go, the strong off-road ability of the Guardian helped Paula to overcome obstacles time and time again. And fighting side by side again and again has made them trust each other more.
When passing through Fort Williams, Paula completed her first cross-country camping here. In this quiet place deep in the forest, Paula felt extremely at ease.
What Paula will never forget for a long time is the sunset that bloomed in the sky after a whole day of heavy rain, which made the sky and face red. For Paula, this rare encounter in life and journey is a moment worth cherishing and remembering.
In addition, Gruinard Bay (Greenyard Bay) is also one of the beautiful scenery that Paula thinks is worth admiring. Although there is no soft beach here, there is a calm lake here; there is no urban hustle and bustle here, and it belongs to only a few people secret base; for a photographer, it’s heaven.
Although the 8-day trip is short, you must know that this trip will not end when it starts. In the future, Paula plans to go to Spain and Portugal to embark on an adventurous journey again. Of course, this guard will still accompany her.
