Recently, SAIC Roewe revealed for the first time the powertrain information of its brand-new smart-connected hard-core SUV Roewe RX5 MAX. The new car will provide traditional power models equipped with 1.5T and 2.0T engines, as well as plug-in hybrid models equipped with 1.5T engines, which can meet China VI emission standards in one step.
The entire Roewe RX5 MAX series adopts a new powertrain, and its parameter performance is ahead of its peers. Among them, the 2.0T model will be equipped with SAIC’s “Blue Core” 400TGI high-power engine, matched with a 6-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, with a maximum power of 170kW and a maximum torque of 370Nm. T engine; the 1.5T model uses a new generation of “Blue Core” 300TGI engine, matched with the 6-speed automatic manual gearbox commonly used by high-end joint venture brands, with a maximum power of 127kW, a maximum torque of 275Nm, and smooth shifting. In addition, the Roewe RX5 MAX will simultaneously launch a plug-in hybrid model, equipped with SAIC’s second-generation new “green core” power, matching the exclusive new energy technology of 10-speed EDU, and providing a hard-core experience for consumers who pursue green travel.
