How to shoot special effects like blue-purple ridges and red vegetation without PS toning? Many friends may know that this is a shooting technique that has a unique position in landscape photography-infrared photography.
Its principle is actually very simple: filter out most of the visible light bands, leaving only infrared light. As a result, the ordinary daily scenery will become extremely surreal and dreamlike.
Online learning site Kolari Vision recently held its first annual infrared photography competition, titled “Life in Another Light.” Judges selected an impressive group of winning entries from more than 2,800 entries.
Some infrared photos with a “cold” touch are particularly eye-catching. Examples include the “ghostly” version of the Eiffel Tower surrounded by white foliage in Pierre-Louis Ferrer’s “Paris Invisible,” and the work of photographer David Hall. Hall’s photograph of a lonely tree as if from another dimension.
Next, let us appreciate these extremely beautiful infrared photography works.
