The time difference in Xinjiang has a great impact on our planned itinerary. There are at least three Grand Canyons along the Duku Highway, Anjihai Grand Canyon, Dushanzi Grand Canyon, and Kuqa Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon. These three canyons have their own characteristics, and the canyon landforms are observed from different relative heights. If I had to choose, I think Anjihai and Kuche must go. Anjihai is currently closed for reorganization, so be patient and wait for the administrator to go away; and it is best to take aerial photos, otherwise it will be difficult to appreciate the magnificence of the canyon. The northern section of the Duku Highway is mostly Yakou Daban terrain, which is a bit like the Grand Canyon. Anjihai allows you to stand on the top of the mountain and look down. It is best to go at sunset after 7 o’clock. The colorful Yadan landform will show beautiful colors.
We left Anjihai at about 17:00. Gaode or Baidu will let you go back. In fact, if you continue to go forward, you will get on S101. You can walk on a road with four-wheel drive and wading. The plan was to stay in Lujiao Bay, but the hot spring hotel cannot be checked in unless it is booked in advance, and other places are yurts, so I rushed back to Shawan County overnight and tasted the famous Shawan Dapanji. Restaurant charges are very reasonable. All the restaurants along the way in Xinjiang have no phenomenon of slaughtering customers, which impressed all of us very deeply! In Xinjiang, the people are happy and the times are good, so have fun playing with peace of mind!
Starting from Shawan today, I ate scallion pancakes in a small shop, which seems to be a common staple food in Xinjiang. There are several mud volcano scenic spots in Kuitun, but cars cannot be used, and only people can walk up. The companions who went up were very disappointed. The Dushanzi Grand Canyon is expensive, but the color is very single compared to Anjihai, and there is no protrusion extending into the canyon like Anjihai.
