It is said that the citizens of Shanghai have been driven crazy by garbage sorting. We don’t live in Shanghai, so we don’t need to pay attention to it, but this garbage sorting regulation has directly covered 47 key cities across the country, and we can’t get around it! Are you sure you don’t drive to these cities? For sure. Then you have to learn how to sort garbage now.
In fact, garbage classification is also very easy to figure out: what pigs can eat is wet garbage, what pigs don’t eat is dry garbage, what pigs will die after eating is toxic garbage, and what pigs can buy pigs is recyclable.
Although it is quite tortured, it is a good thing that is beneficial to our living environment after all, and we should support it.
The problem is that the small space of the caravan can produce a lot of domestic waste, how to solve it? It is obviously unrealistic to put 4 trash cans in one car. The following are the countermeasures I think of, let’s brainstorm:
1. Try to control the generation of garbage, uh… standard nonsense. This is not easy at home, but it is really easy to control when traveling. Cook less and go out to eat more local specialties.
2. Things are overpacked now, so try to buy food and items in simple packages. All packaging can be directly stored in large cloth bags and hung behind the driver’s seat. This kind of packaging and paper scraps are not dirty and will not produce peculiar smells. Empty the used Coke bottles and use them if they can be reused. If not, make sure they are clean, crush them and put them in the bag, and throw them into the “recyclables”.
3. Finely classify kitchen waste, use our current trash can for dry garbage, and put wet garbage in the caravan. My suggestion is to put garbage bags directly in the sink… because it is wet and dirty, you are not using it There is no way to hang it in any position, the kitchen storage rack like the picture below is also fine, let’s set several layers of bags. If you choose to cook in the car, it is best to find a place with trash cans nearby, and dispose of the kitchen waste as soon as possible is the right choice.
4. Hazardous waste: including batteries, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, mercury thermometers, paint buckets, some home appliances, expired medicines, expired cosmetics, etc. These should be stored in a separate bag in the RV. The RV may be the battery. These should never be disposed of as dry waste.
After all the calculations, the current trash can is enough. Of course, if you want to do a wet and dry separation, you can also do it. Many C-type RVs have a trash can hanging on the door, which can be fully used now.
Now there is another problem, the garbage classification regulations of each city are different… Can you complain about this? If you can’t, you can only bear it in silence. As a RV driver, before traveling north and south, use your mobile phone to check the city you are going to and how the garbage is sorted, so as not to cause trouble for yourself.
Finally, things like kitchen waste shredders may really need to be considered. I see foreign RVs are installed, but the problem is, should the broken ones be stored in the gray water tank or the black water tank? How to discharge? It is estimated that this kind of RV with a kitchen waste disposal system will be available soon. If it is discharged, connect the pipe and find the sewer…
This sorting of garbage is definitely not something that can be accomplished overnight, and we can only adapt slowly. The society is developing. Although the implementation of various regulations may cause troubles to people sometimes, it is beneficial to the protection of the overall environment.
